On the Custom Trail Boss, you'll find a factory-installed two-inch lift suitable for your off-road adventures. The LT comes equipped with chrome bumpers, a chrome center grille bar, and chrome mirror caps. The RST gives you body-colored bumpers, a body-colored center grille bar, and body-colored door handles. The first thing you'll notice about the LT Trail Boss is the dual-outlet exhaust with polished tips. The chrome accents on the LTZ pair perfectly with its 18-inch Bright Silver wheels. Standard on the LT and RST is a 2.7-liter turbo with active fuel management capable of producing 310 horsepower and 348 pound-feet of torque. The WT, Custom, and Custom Trail Boss come equipped with a 285-horsepower, 4.3-liter EcoTec3 V-6 with active fuel management that can put out 305 pound-feet of torque. On the LT Trail Boss, LTZ, and High Country, you'll find a 5.3-liter EcoTec3 V-8 with Dynamic Fuel Management that can produce 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. An active fuel management version is also available. An available 6.2-liter V-8 gives you 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, while the Duramax 3.0-liter Turbo-Diesel gives the Silverado 1500 a towing capacity of 9,300 pounds.
