2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Trim Comparison

The base trim level on the 2021 Silverado 1500 is the Work Truck, which offers all the modern amenities you need in order to get the job done with ease and convenience. On the Work Truck trim, you’ll find the available Multi-Flex tailgate, a 4.3L EcoTec3 V6 engine, 6-speed automatic transmission, Durabed, StabiliTrak electronic stability control system with traction control, Chevrolet Infotainment 3 system with a 7-inch. color touchscreen, rear vision camera, and more.

Custom comes equipped with the Custom Value Package which includes a remote vehicle starter system with content theft alarm, rear-window defogger, LED cargo area lighting and EZ Lift power lock and release tailgate, the Infotainment Package, and Trailering Package. Drivers also have the option between the 4.3L EcoTec3 V6 engine equipped with Active Fuel Management (standard) and the available 2.7L Turbo engine equipped with Active Fuel Management and Automatic Stop/Start.

The Custon Trail Boss comes with the same packages that you’ll find on the Custom including the Custom Convenience Package, Infotainment Package, and Trailering Package. Some differences between the Custom and Custom Trail Boss include a 5.3L EcoTec V8 engine equipped both with and without Active Fuel Management, 2" factory suspension lift with Z71 Off-Road Package, Automatic Locking Rear Differential , and 18" Black Wheels with Goodyear® Wrangler DuraTrac® Mud-Terrain Tires.

The next trim up is the LT, which comes in two editions: LT All Star and LT All Star Z71 Plus. With the All Star, you have the choice between four available engines: 2.7L Turbo, 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 (equipped with and without Dynamic Fuel Management and Automatic Stop/Start) and the Duramax 3.0L Turbo-Diesel I-6. The All Star comes with the Convenience Package, Trailering Package, and Automatic Locking Rear Differential. The All Star Z71 Plus has all of that in addition to the Convenience Package II and the Z71 Off-Road and Protection Package and Bed Protection Package.

The RST comes in the All Star Z71 and All Star Z71 Plus editions. On the RST All Star, you’ll find the All Star Edition with the Convenience Package, Trailering Package, and Automatic Locking Rear Differential, Z71 Off-Road Package, Bed Protection Package, and Integrated trailer brake controller. Choosing the All Star Z71 Plus will get you the All Star Edition, All Star Edition Plus Package, Z71 Off-Road & Protection Package, and the Leather Package with Jet Black or Gideon leather-appointed seating.

The LT Trail Boss offers the impressive interior of the LT with the off-road performance of the Trail Boss. The LT Trail Boss is perfect for your off-road needs, equipped with 2" Factory Suspension Lift with Z71 Off-Road Package, 18" Black Wheels with Goodyear® Wrangler DuraTrac® Mud-Terrain Tires, the Convenience Package with bucket seats, and the Convenience Package II. There’s also the Advanced Trailering Package and the Leather Package the Jet Black or Gideon leather-appointed seats and Uplevel Rear Seat with Storage Package.

The second highest package is the LTZ, which comes in both the LTZ Z71 Plus and LTZ Z71 Premium editions. The LTZ Z71 Plus features the LTZ Convenience Package, Z71 Off-Road and Protection Package, and 20" polished wheels. Moving up to the LTZ Z71 Premium, drivers enjoy the addition of the LTZ Premium Package with Chevrolet Infotainment System with Navigation and 8" diagonal color touchscreen, Bose Premium Audio System and Wireless Charging, Z71 Off-Road and Protection Package, and Technology Package with HD Surround Vision and additional cameras.

The highest trim on the 2021 Silverado 1500, the High Country has the option of 5 available engines: 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 (with or without Automatic Stop/Start), 6.2L EcoTec3 V8 (with or without Automatic Stop/Start), and the Duramax 3.0L Turbo-Diesel I-6.
