2023 Chevrolet Colorado

Five trims for the Chevy Colorado in 2023 are available: WT (Work Truck), LT, Trail Boss, Z71, and ZR2. The WT sits atop ultra-silver 17-inch steel metallic wheels equipped with all-season tires and also features a CornerStep rear bumper and eight fixed pickup bed tie-downs. Choose the LT, and you'll find aluminum 17-inch argent metallic wheels and body-colored rear bumper, door handles, and front fascia. On the Trail Boss, you add black recovery hooks and black bowties to the aesthetic while the wheels are upgraded to aluminum 18-inch high-gloss black-painted wheels.

The Z71 rolls down the road on aluminum 18-inch full-gloss Dark Android-painted wheels and includes LED lighting for the taillights, fog lights, and headlights, along with red recovery hooks. Finally, the ZR2 gives you a tailgate with watertight lockable storage, underbody rocker panel protectors, skid plates, and aluminum 17-inch Oxide Gold and Graphite wheels.

One engine is available for all trims of the 2023 Chevrolet Colorado, although the upper trims have slightly higher capacities. The engine of choice is a turbocharged 2.7-liter inline four-cylinder engine coupled to an eight-speed automatic transmission that will make 237 horsepower and 259 pound-feet of torque. For the plus version of the Colorado, that same engine is enhanced to churn out 310 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque. Finally, the ZR2 offers a high-output engine that generates 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque.

Drive mode selection leads off the performance features. It includes Off-Road, Terrain, Baja, Tow/Haul, and Normal to tweak the configuration to match the current conditions or your personal preferences. The entry-level WT starts with a power-adjustable driver's seat, an 11.3-inch center touch-screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration with available Google built-in, a remote keyless entry with a push-button start, an 8-inch digital driver information display, and a Wi-Fi hot spot.

The LT features a center console, a premium-wrapped steering wheel, power windows, and rear air vents. Upgrade to the Z71 to add 110-volt console and pickup power outlets. For an even more enjoyable ride, go with the ZR2, which adds an 11-inch digital driver information center and heated front seats. In addition, the ZR2 has options such as ventilated front seats.
