2024 Chevy Blazer vs 2024 Honda CRV
The 2024 Chevy Blazer is a mid-size SUV with a history dating back to the 1960s. The 2024 Honda CR-V is a compact SUV that was first introduced in the late 1990s. Trying to decide which one to invest in? Find out what else differentiates them.
Trims
The 2024 Chevy Blazer comes in four trims: 2LT, 3LT, RS, and Premier. It comes standard with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and front-wheel drive, but a more powerful 3.6-liter V-6 engine and all-wheel drive are options. The 2024 Honda CR-V is offered in six trims — LX, EX, Sport Hybrid, EX-L, Sport-L Hybrid, and Sport Touring Hybrid — but only three (LX, EX, and EX-L) are gas-powered models.
Performance
The 2024 Chevy Blazer comes with either a standard turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces up to 228 horsepower or an optional 3.6-liter V-6 engine that generates up to 308 horsepower. Both engines are significantly more powerful than the 2024 Honda CR-V's standard turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that churns out up to 190 horsepower or its optional hybrid powertrain that has a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with two electric motors that create up to 204 horsepower.
Technology
The 2024 Chevy Blazer has a standard 10.2-inch touch-screen infotainment system that looks gigantic compared to the standard 7.0-inch touch-screen system found in the 2024 Honda CR-V's LX, EX, and Sport trims and even the 9.0-inch touch-screen infotainment system found in the EX-L and Sport Touring trims. The 2024 Blazer once again gets the best of the 2024 CR-V, both in this category and overall.
