3 Reasons to Buy the 2020 Blazer

The 2020 Chevrolet Blazer is a stylish, street-oriented crossover that sports a Camaro-inspired design and a refined ride quality. In addition, this SUV offers an upscale interior, modern technology, and a choice of three engines that offer various combinations of power and efficiency. Here’s some more information on this flashy and distinctive crossover.

Camaro-Inspired Exterior

One of the most exciting features of the 2020 Blazer is its strikingly good looks. This SUV’s bold and sophisticated design, which includes ultra-thin LED daytime running lamps and a signature grille, distinguishes it from the competition. The base trim is decently equipped with features like 18-inch aluminum wheels, Xenon headlights, power-adjustable and heated mirrors, LED taillights, and LED daytime running lamps. Higher trims add conveniences like a hands-free liftgate, roof rails, 20-inch aluminum wheels, and deep-tinted glass.

Three Engine Choices

The Chevy Blazer comes with three engine choices. The standard engine is a fuel-efficient 2.5-liter four-cylinder that provides an output of 193 horsepower and 188 pound-feet of torque. Next in line is a powerful turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 230 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque.

If you want the maximum tow rating of 4,500 pounds from your Blazer, opt for the 3.6-liter V-6 engine that kicks out 308 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. All engines are paired with a nine-speed automatic and front-wheel drive is standard with the base engine, whereas the other two engines come standard with an all-wheel-drive system.

Upscale Interior

The upscale interior of the Blazer features quality materials like available leather and suede microfiber upholstery. The well-equipped infotainment system offers standard features like an 8-inch display, USB ports, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hot spot, and six speakers. Generous seating with plenty of support is provided for up to five passengers, and behind the rear seats is a cargo area of 30.5 cubic feet. A standard adjustable cargo fence helps keep larger cargo items in their place, while an available horizontal cargo net is ideal for smaller items.

The 60/40 split-folding rear seats will allow you to configure the cabin space according to your needs, and when all rear seats are folded down, you’ll have a maximum cargo area of 64.2 cubic feet. Standard interior features include keyless ignition and entry, premium cloth upholstery, dual-zone climate control, active noise cancellation, a rearview camera, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and cruise control. Higher trims add nice-to-haves like heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, ambient lighting, and power-adjustable front seats.
