4 Summer Activities You Can Drive to Near Liberty, MO

School is out, the sun is shining, and you’re looking for something to do that the whole family can enjoy. Why not check out some of the exciting summer activities near Liberty, MO? 1. Northland Rolladium Skate Center

We love roller skating because it perfectly combines exercise and entertainment. Check out the Northland Rolladium Skate Center at 1020 Kent St. We assure you that this is the perfect place to host parties or go on casual family outings. 2. Clay County Museum

School may be out, but that doesn’t mean you can’t take the kids to the Clay County Museum to learn some local history. You can find this lovely building at 14 N Main St, and don’t worry about bringing an admission fee because entry here is always free! Come by any time to examine the display of artifacts or to check out the gift shop, or drop by for one of the museum’s special events like picnics, guest speakers, or trivia nights.

3. Kansas City Zoo

Who doesn’t love to see some cute, cuddly animals, or even some fearful, ferocious beasts? Take the kids on a visit to the Kansas City Zoo at 6800 Zoo Dr for a day full of furry friends and smiling faces. Buy some tickets if you want to go once or twice, or become a zoo member if you want to keep coming back year-round. Either way, you won’t regret your time at the zoo!

4. Worlds of Fun

One of our favorite things about Missouri is that it’s home to Worlds of Fun, one of the greatest amusement parks in the nation. Drive on over to Kansas City to ride some roller coasters at 4545 Worlds of Fun Ave. The little ones may prefer to go around a few times on the carousel, or ride some of the kid coasters at Planet Snoopy, while the teens and adults scream their heads off on thrill rides like the Mamba or the Patriot. We love Worlds of Fun!
