Visitors can also fish and hike along the 10-miles of the Missouri River shoreline. If you’d like to turn your visit to the Eagles Bluff Conservation Area into a weekend trip, hotels can be found nearby in Columbia, MO or you can camp out at Cooper’s Landing Campground and Marina.

Wild Animal Safari

For a trip on the wild side, visit Wild Animal Safari just outside of Springfield, Missouri. You can drive through the safari park from the comfort of your own car, making it the perfect stop on your road trip. On your drive you’ll come face to face with animals like American bison, elk, camels, tigers, zebras, and more! This is an exciting road trip the whole family is bound to love, and it’s less than a 3-hour drive from Kansas City.

Topeka, Kansas
