For coffee aficionados and those simply looking for a boost, Hammerhead Coffee is top-notch and at the top of our list.

This coffee shop produces some of the best handcrafted espresso in town, starting with their process of selecting small batches of coffee from around the world to roast right in downtown Liberty. The baristas here are first-rate, and you can always count on consistent quality and care in the creation of your coffee drink. While you’re there, be sure to pick up a couple of pounds of coffee to go. Our favorite is the Light of Earendil espresso blend.

2. Over Flow Coffee House

There is a lot to love at Over Flow Coffee House. Not only is the coffee fabulous, but you can also feel great knowing the owners of this business donate a portion of their profits to local and global causes. Made with drip coffee, espresso, honey, heaving whipping cream, and cinnamon, the Keto Coffee is delicious. We also recommend the Shatto Mocha, which is made with locally-sourced chocolate milk.

Even if you aren’t a coffee drinker, you should still make your way over to Over Flow for their irresistible menu of made-to-order crepes. Go for a classic Nutella Banana crepe or satisfy your breakfast cravings with hollandaise-drizzled bacon, fried egg, and jack cheese crepe. Pair your crepe with a cup of local Anna Marie’s tea or a matcha latte.

3. Papas Coffee Express

Papas is a well-loved, laid-back coffee house offering all the standard fare plus an amazing menu of “candy bar” coffee drinks. Our favorite is the Kit Kat, which is made with mocha, vanilla, and hazelnut. This establishment offers sugar-free flavors and welcomes patrons to customize their specialty drinks.
